Bad breath, or halitosis, is most frequently the result of trapped food debris and bacteria in the fissures and crevices of the tongue.  As the food breaks down, Volatile Sulfur Compounds (VCSs) are formed, causing bad breath.

An effective new process is now available that will significantly reduce the cause of VCS, thereby eliminating the bad breath.  This process is called tongue deplaquing.

Tongue deplaquing works through the application of an anti-bacterial gel, which is applied to the tongue, loosening the trapped food and bacteria.  The tongue is then scraped with a safe and gentle appliance to lift and remove the particles.  Finally, an anti-bacterial mouth wash rinses everything from the mouth while providing further protection against bacteria.
